Lantern threads glow through tiered Aokujima rooftops at dusk

How it works

Eight lantern-lit steps from membership to production—every phase keeps moderation, safety, and studio editorial judgment in the loop.

1. Pick your membership lantern

Choose Member, Creator, or Patron tiers—each unlocks monthly Studio Credit sparks used only inside community.movie.

2. Submit a Story Card pitch

Draft loglines inside active challenges, accept submission terms, and pass moderation before your idea glows publicly.

3. Vote and boost with fairness rails

Votes stay one-per-member where rules apply; boosts spend Studio Credits with anti-whale caps so lanterns stay distributed.

4. Weekly Shortlist + Monthly Slate

Ranking blends votes, boosts, feasibility, complexity, and recency. Monthly Slate ideas become eligible for editorial review—not automatic productions.

5. Editorial discretion note

Humans may reorder or remove entries for safety, moderation, legal, IP, quality, or scheduling reasons even when algorithms disagree.

6. Development Room collaborations

Shortlisted tales gather structured feedback, polls, and AI-assisted summaries before studio editors weigh continuity.

7. NeuraLoom cinematic pipeline

Chosen concepts graduate into NeuraLoom’s Resolve-forward AI filmmaking spine—keyframes, gates, and cinematic QC.

8. Recognition + Studio Credits recap

Credits never become withdrawable cash—they remain creative sparks for boosts and gated experiences. Badges celebrate contributors when ideas advance.
