These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to community.movie, related sites, applications, APIs, and participation features (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing membership, clicking accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Rules, Submission Terms, and Studio Credits Terms.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old in the United Kingdom, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, unless we expressly enable a younger flow with parental controls in your region. You provide accurate registration data, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of unauthorised use.

Licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended participatory purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Membership, fees & Studio Credits

Paid memberships renew until cancelled. Studio Credits are governed by their standalone terms. Fees are stated at checkout. Taxes may apply. We may change pricing prospectively with notice where required.

User content

You retain rights you hold in your submissions; you also grant the licences described in the Submission Terms. You are responsible for lawful use of uploaded materials and for respecting third-party rights.

AI, automation & third parties

The Service uses AI and subprocessors as described in our AI Disclosure and Privacy Policy. We are not liable for third-party services you access via optional links.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).

Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless community.movie and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, legal process, or operational necessity. You may delete your account as described in-product. Provisions intended to survive (including licences, disclaimers, limits, and indemnities) survive termination.

Governing law & disputes

Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of London have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes

We may modify these Terms; material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless we are required to obtain fresh consent.
