In the mountains surrounding Venecia, Antioquia, a young boy named Mateo survives a traumatic accident near Cerro Tusa and discovers he can understand the emotional meaning behind bird calls. As certain birds begin guiding him toward hidden truths about the valley and the people who once lived there, Mateo learns that some birds are not merely animals — they are messengers, protectors, and emotional echoes of ancestors guiding the living between worlds.
