Safety & Community Standards
We combine automation with human moderators to keep community.movie welcoming and lawful. Reporting tools and appeals are available through Contact.
Allowed themes (when handled responsibly)
- Original fiction, speculative worlds, and tone-aware comedy.
- Constructive pitch feedback focused on story mechanics, not personal attacks.
- Relationship or dramatic conflict at a mainstream studio audience level—without explicit sexual violence or exploitation.
- Fantasy action where violence is stylised rather than fetishised.
Rejected content
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or coordinated brigading.
- Hate directed at protected characteristics; slurs; dehumanising memes.
- Sexual content involving minors, voyeurism, or coercion.
- Graphic torture, gore for shock value, or fetishised violence.
- Extremist propaganda, terror glorification, or how-to harm instructions.
- Attempts to monetise community participation as off-platform schemes tied to studio greenlights (see Community Rules).
Needs review (may stay hidden while moderators decide)
- Political allegory that could be read as attacking real-world groups.
- Mental health, self-harm, or medical storylines that require sensitivity review or resource links.
- Horror or thriller concepts that may exceed a challenge's default audience band.
- Alleged proxies for celebrities, private figures, or real minors—even if renamed—when likeness cues remain.
Actor Universe — additional prohibitions
- Depicting or targeting specific real people, celebrities, or identifiable private individuals.
- Cloning copyrighted franchise characters, costumes, logos, or trade dress.
- Sexualised or adult-presenting characters inconsistent with our audience posture.
- Hate symbols, extremist regalia, or coded supremacist references.
- Uncanny or misleading political deepfake-adjacent portrayals intended to confuse viewers about real events.
Enforcement ladder
We may warn, require edits, temporarily limit posting, remove media, suspend wallets, or permanently ban accounts. Serious safety issues may be escalated to law enforcement where legally appropriate.
