Last updated: 16 May 2026

community.movie respects intellectual property rights and expects members to do the same. This policy describes how to report alleged infringement and how we may respond.

Your representations

By submitting content, you represent you have the rights necessary for the licence in our Submission Terms. Do not upload confidential or stolen materials.

DMCA-style notice (United States)

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the designated agent email listed on our Contact page (subject: "DMCA Notice") containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL).
  • Your contact information (address, telephone, email).
  • A statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorised.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act for the owner.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may send a counter-notice with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g). We may restore content after applicable waiting periods unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringer policy

We may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe or breach IP policies.

Non-US claims

For trademark, personality, or non-US copyright claims, include jurisdiction-specific details and legal citations where helpful. We handle requests consistent with applicable law.
